Last summer I spent a few days doing some volunteer work in Lane End Farm in the Peak District. The farm is located in Hope Valley not far away from a village called Hathersage in Derbyshire, which is only 10 miles SE from Sheffield. Its a beautiful natural area called Abney, very hilly and with very nice picturesque old style houses. Lane End farm is a charity that provides daytime outdoor activities like horse riding, cooking, animal care, horticulture, etc.. to disable and disadvantaged young people. These activities have proved to be also very successful for young people with Autistic Disorder because in Lane End Farm they can connect with a beautiful nature and farm animals.
So during my breaks working there I had a walk around to explore the area. It was one of those blue skies summer days. I was very lucky! Its so great we have the Peak District so close to Sheffield.
I took a few photos which I put on a video. I also played some of the music for the background. You can see it below.
Hope you enjoy it.
